Objectives

Individual Learning Session: Training - Planning and Delivering Training

At the end of this session you will:

  • be aware of the key aspects of planning a successful training event.
  • understand the elements that go to make up a positve climate for learning.
  • understand how to present material effectively and have begun to develop the skills to put this into practice.
The learning objectives in this session link in to the following units:
  • Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities:
    • Optional Units – Group B:
      • SS OP 3.7 - Support individuals to access education, training or employment


  • Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma (including Generic, Dementia and Learning Disability Pathways):
    • Group C units – Optional competence units:
      • SS OP 3.7 - Support individuals to access education, training or employment


  • Level 5 Diploma in Commissioning, procurement and contracting for care services:
    • Group A - mandatory:
      • SHC 52 - Promote professional development
