Objectives

Group Learning Session: Understanding, Using and Valuing Supervision

At the end of this session the candidates will:

  • understand and be able to explain why supervision is important in their work setting
  • be able to explain how they intend to make best use of supervision opportunities made available to them
  • have had the opportunity, at the end of the session, to identify their further linked learning needs in relation to the topics covered. They will be able to evidence that they have done this and to provide it for discussion with their supervisor and/or line manager to enable them to address these needs as part of their structured learning and development planning
