Individual Learning Session: Literacy Skills

At the end of this session you will:

  • have developed techniques for remembering 'spellings'
  • have gained an understanding of how to separate and distinguish between words that sound the same but have different meanings, i.e. homophones
  • have learned that by adding a combination of letters to the end of words it can change the emphasis of sentences, i.e. suffixes
  • have had the opportunity to create sentences
  • have increased your knowledge of punctuation and when to use it
